Very hard to find, highly collectible Mid Century Italian Ceramic piece by QUADRIFOGLIO.
Amazing BIG storage jar It says RISO - RICE but can be used for Cookies/sugar/bathroom accessories Midcentury Italian made in the 1950s-1960s. There is the QUADRIFOGLIO (sometimes referred to as the Flower painter) stamp or signature on the bottom.
Pastel crayon-like designs typical of the era depict a young woman. On the back is a blue and white flower pattern.
The lid of the jar has a small chip on the rim (PLEASE SEE PICTURES) However there would be no problem storing anything dry. Considering its Age of approximately 60+ years it's in VERY GOOD CONDITION.
If you love Mid Century European this is a piece for your collection that you cannot be without!
