Rare 19th-century French Majolica asparagus platter by Salins, beautifully hand-decorated with botanical fern motifs. A fine example of antique French pottery, this richly glazed platter features classic molded wells for serving asparagus. Lovely patina, all-over crazing, and vibrant naturalistic detail make it an excellent collector’s piece. Note: one side has a hairline crack and the foot has a chip (see photos). A must-have for lovers of French Majolica, barbotine ceramics, and rustic farmhouse tableware.
